To ensure fairness to all students and maintain Cathy’s schedule, we require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full lesson fee.

We appreciate your understanding—this allows us to offer that time slot to another student waiting to get on the road!

Absolutely! We strongly encourage supervisors (parents or licensed drivers) to sit in on lessons, especially for the My Learner's FREE Lesson.

This allows you to observe Cathy's professional techniques, hear the critical instructions, and ask any questions. This is a great way to ensure your practice drives at home are consistent and effective, maximising your learner’s progress and confidence on Melbourne's roads!

Yes, absolutely! While VicRoads doesn't hand out a simple tick-box list, they do have very clear criteria.

Your preparation checklist should cover two main areas:

1. Vehicle & Documents: Ensure your car meets all requirements (lights working, no warning lights), and you have all your essential documents (Learner Permit, completed Logbook/myLearners app, and Hazard Perception Test certificate).

2. Driving Skills: You must be able to perform the Pre-Drive Safety Check flawlessly and safely demonstrate all driving tasks (e.g., complex turns, parallel park, three-point turns) in varied traffic conditions.

Our Simulated Drive Test and Test Day Package are specifically designed around the official VicRoads criteria to ensure you hit every point on this list. In addition, Cathy will share advice and suggestions specific to you, to ensure the best possible outcome on test day.

Cathy does her best to make your training as easy and effective as possible.

For maximum convenience, most driving lessons (including the 60 and 90-minute options, and the NDIS lessons) start and finish at a location that suits you within our service areas across Melbourne—typically your home, school, or workplace.

The Simulated Drive Test commence either at your preferred VicRoads testing centre area (to practice the actual routes) or a pre-arranged nearby location.

The Driving test starts 1 hour before your actual drive test appointment time. Cathy will collect you from your home. You will make your way together towards Vic roads. Cathy stays with you while you do your drive test. The tester will be seated in the back of the car. Cathy will then return you home/work/etc on completion of your drive test.
